The 2nd French-Georgian Regional Topical School of Physics will take place in Tbilisi, at the site of Tbilisi State University, on February 9-13, 2026.

The school is primarily intended for Master’s students in physics (M1–M2
level). Advanced Bachelor’s students and early-stage PhD students with a
strong interest in fundamental and applied physics.

The lecture program will cover several areas of contemporary physics,
including high-energy physics, nuclear physics, medical physics, and
instrumentation and accelerators.

In addition to the main lecture series, topical seminars will present
current research carried out in Georgia and will be delivered by Georgian
professors and researchers.

The program places emphasis on interaction between students and lecturers.
Lectures will be complemented by discussion sessions, student–professor
group work, and mentoring activities. A mini student conference will be
organized on the afternoon of the final day, during which participants will
present their work.
